Purpose:  To present an updated terms of reference and agenda structure for the Governance and Priorities Committee.


Presentation:

Recommendation:


That the Governance and Priorities Committee recommend that Council:

  1. Endorse the Governance and Priorities Committee terms of reference as attached to the staff report dated 2023-APR-26.
  2. Endorse the proposed changes to the GPC agenda structure and ‘Upcoming Topics and Initiatives’ schedule as attached to the staff report dated 2023-APR-26.

Purpose:  To provide the Governance and Priority Committee with highlights gathered from the Governance and Priorities Committee meetings in December 2022 and February 2023, as well as the Council Strategic Priorities meetings held to date, regarding Council committee and task force meetings and to seek direction on how to proceed.


Recommendation:  That the Governance and Priorities Committee provide recommendations on how Council proceeds with committees and task forces.
