Purpose: To provide Economic Development Task Force members with a presentation regarding meeting procedures.

Economic Development Function Service Model Review

To be introduced by Bill Corsan, Director, Community Development.

Purpose: To provide the Economic Development Task Force with an overview of the economic development function service model review, endorsed by Council in September 2019.

Task Force Terms of Reference

To be introduced by Bill Corsan, Director, Community Development.

Purpose: To review the Task Force Terms of Reference and discuss the purpose of the Economic Development Task Force.

Priorities of the Economic Development Strategy

To be introduced by Amrit Manhas, Economic Development Officer.

Purpose: To seek input from Task Force members in advance of Staff preparing a Request for Proposals for a consultant team to deliver an Economic Development Strategy for the City of Nanaimo.

Future Meeting Schedule

Purpose: To discuss meeting frequency and future meeting topics.
