To be introduced by Lisa Bhopalsingh, Manager, Community Planning.

Purpose:  To provide the Health and Housing Task Force with the final Health and Housing Action Plan and recommended next steps for implementation.

Recommendation:  That the Health and Housing Task Force recommend that Council:

  1. endorse the draft Health and Housing Action Plan;
  2. direct Staff to facilitate the establishment of a Systems Planner Organization; and,
  3. direct Staff to seek funding from partners for establishing a Systems Planner Organization.

Council passed the following motion during the 2021-JAN-18 Regular Council Meeting:

"It was moved and seconded that Council receive the Correspondence dated 2020-DEC-21, from Myra Thomson re:  Homeless Population Displaced from Wesley Street Encampment and direct the correspondence to the Health and Housing Task Force for information."
