Cambie Neighbourhood Park Improvement Request under the Partners in Parks Program

Shirley Gremyachev to provide Council with reasons for appealing for funds to help bring Cambie Neighbourhood Park Improvements to the stage that children are able to make use of the facility.

Jocelyn Dewar to provide a verbal presentation regarding requesting matching grant funding of $25,000 through the Partners in Parks Program for the development of Phase 1 of the Cambie Neighbourhood Park.

BYLAWS (with no accompanying report):

Staff identified a mislabeled figure in the Chase River Neighbourhood Plan. The error was inadvertently incorporated into Bylaw 6500.038 that Council passed at second reading at the Regular Council Meeting on 2018-MAY-07 and needs to be rescinded.

Recommendation:  That:

  1. Council rescind second reading of “Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw 2018 No. 6500.038” (OCP87 – To re-designate 40 Maki Road on the Future Land Use Plan [Map 1] from ‘Neighbourhood’ to ‘Light Industrial’; and to re-designate 40 Maki Road on the Chase River Neighbourhood Plan Land Use schedule A-7.3 from ‘Low-Medium Density Residential’ to ‘Service Industrial Enterprise Area’);and,
